Thanks, too, to CSN Stores, for allowing me to review one of their products. I chose the Patch Products Building Words Tabletop Pocket Chart ($15.25). It's a very cool tool for kids who are starting to learn how to read and spell. It includes pictures of simple things: a cat, a bug, a pot-- all three-letter words-- along with the cardboard letters needed to spell all those words. Kids place the cardboard letters into vinyl "sleeves" to spell out the words, and when not in use, all the letters and pictures get stored in a big pocket in back of the chart. Love it!

The moment I walk in the door after work and I can't get 3 inches in the door before I'm tackled by the dogs and the kids materialize out of nowhere with big, lovey, bear hugs and start to rat each other out over some kid-type transgressions that won't be remembered 10 minutes from now and my mom calls to get ready for dinner and could I just get the cork out of the wine bottle because she tried but couldn't get it and she's reading this awful book for her book club and have I read it yet and hurry up because dinner is getting cold and the kids all want to go to the park after dinner and maybe we can take the dogs and get some ice cream then come home and watch Kendall's current favorite movie because Toothless is just so adorable and Conor and Hana really like dragons too always makes me smile. :)
