We LOVED baby sign language. In fact, we have clips of Samantha doing it and now that she's older, she loves watching her old self doing it. So, it pays now and later. I think what's so brilliant is that it's physical, you know? And if you didn't get to do it as a baby, you missed the thrill of language when it becomes physical. Enjoy every second! And toddlers are not so bad. All the mythology is lies, lies, lies. In fact, toddlers are really fun.
