Baba!
She sure did. Her first word was "mama" during month 6. Last night, she started saying "baba." The adorableness of it is almost too much to bear. I awoke to the sounds of her practicing. "Ba... bama... maba... mbababababa!"

You know, 'baba' is the phrase for Daddy in Chinese ... she's got a knack for languages already!
ReplyDeleteBaba was in my second son's early vocabulary as well -- he used it to refer to his stuffed bunny, still named Baba and he's six now.
Sounds to me like she's working on her maniacal laugh. Best watch out, Jenna. She might be after your hat.
ReplyDeleteI know a baby who only says NO! very loudly. She calls everyone No, and even when she wants something, she points to it and shouts NO!
